Enabling the Enablers

We’re delighted to be working with Enable Trust, a specialist educational trust with a vision to deliver high quality provision for children with a range of complex special educational needs based in Gloucestershire.

When we begin working with a new client, we get a huge buzz from entering their world and hearing about the highs, lows and passions that have brought them so far.

What matters to us most from the outset is understanding the people, ethos, focus and dreams of the organisation at the centre of our work.

As with a lot of our projects, our starting place with Enable Trust was to dig deep into the heart of their vision and values, clarifying and fine-tuning their messaging, to best showcase the uniqueness of the Trust to schools that are considering joining a Multi Academy Trust (MAT).

Our first step with the team was a workshop to explore Enable Trust’s values together, and make space for staff to share about how their ideas, daily working rhythms and priorities play out in reality.

As well as holding weekly catch-ups with the team, we then conducted a range of fact-finding and supportive interviews with local headteachers, governors and parents to research and gather information about how Enable Trust has been perceived and experienced in the past. We investigated potential barriers and benefits to joining a Multi Academy Trust, so we could really understand the world surrounding Enable Trust, and how these ideas might feed in to how and what they convey.

Our tailor-made Communications Strategy for the Trust includes recommendations to help them communicate the best they have to offer through a range of mediums and to a range of audiences. Our goal is always to empower everyone we work with to put their best foot forward as they embark on their next steps to success.
