Creating websites which really tell the story

The Riverbank Trust is a vibrant and passionate charity supporting single mums in the Richmond area of London. We were thrilled to win the work of designing their new website following their rebrand, translating their communications strategy into an accessible and eye-catching online presence.

For Riverbank, telling their story and conveying the service they offer centred around simplicity of language and purpose to best reach single mums in their community. Through collaborative working with website designer Dave Hawkins from Made by Dave , we created an easy-to-use bespoke website which reflects the heart of Riverbank’s ethos and service provision in a clear and easy manner.

As a Christian charity, the work that Riverbank does is built on their Christian beliefs, and it was satisfying for our team to work on a project which aligns with our own values. This personal understanding of a faith which underpins everything meant that we really understood their vision, enabling us to design and communicate content from shared perspective.

Finding the right tone for the website was critical to Riverbank and we invested in this aspect through detailed research and careful sourcing of the best images and text to reflect exactly what was needed, with key messaging front and centre in the final digital output.

At Freedto, we know that the goal for a lot of clients is to take hold of the controls at the end of the creating process. We want our clients to be confident that there will be no hidden costs or extras handed to them at the last minute. From the get-go, it was key for us that Riverbank’s website could be handed over and managed by their team once everything was in place. We held training sessions and offered post-launch support to ensure they could confidently take to the skies with their brand-new website.
